Fundraising for Waverley
Meaningful employment can be life-changing but for many people with disabilities, extra support is needed to make it possible. At Waverley, we create opportunities that empower people to thrive at work and in life. Fundraising plays a vital role in making this happen, helping us provide the training, resources, and workplace adjustments that open doors to employment.
We can’t do it alone. Every job we create is made possible by the generosity of our community — volunteers who give their time, donors who give their resources, and philanthropic partners who share our vision.

Our Fundraising Projects
The Mike Russell Awards – $50,000
Our annual awards night in October celebrates the achievements of our supported employees. This gala dinner is a special night of recognition for our team members and their support workers. We’re seeking help through financial donations or raffle prize contributions to make this event truly memorable.
The Leadership Launchpad Program - $60,000
This program is designed to inspire and support career progression for people with disabilities. Through tailored leadership training, mentorship and workshops, participants will gain skills and confidence to step into leadership roles within Waverley and beyond. This is about setting a new standard for what supported employment can be.
Employee Social Hub – $60,000
We’re upgrading our canteen to create a more accessible and welcoming social space for our employees. This transformation will help strengthen social connections and inclusion, making a positive impact on our team’s daily experience and the broader community.
Upgrade of Our Teaching Kitchen – $50,000
Our commercial kitchen has helped create jobs and provide fresh meals for our team since 2011. We’re now looking to upgrade equipment to improve productivity, reduce manual labour, and support skills development. This will help us meet growing demand while continuing to deliver high-quality food and meaningful employment opportunities.
