What a night! Nearly 400 people filled the room for this year’s Mike Russell Awards, held at the beautiful Grand on Princes, and the energy was electric from start to finish.
The evening was all about celebrating the achievements, dedication, and spirit of the Workmates of Waverley and they certainly gave us plenty to celebrate.
Honouring Years of Service
We were proud to present 38 service awards recognising Workmates who’ve reached incredible milestones – spanning 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, and even 40 years of service. Each award represents not just time, but years of commitment, teamwork, and personal growth.
Recognising Excellence
Thirteen outstanding employees received Mike Russell Awards, acknowledging individuals who’ve gone above and beyond in their work and personal development. Their stories inspire all of us and remind us of the talent and heart that make Waverley what it is.
A Night to Remember
The celebration was complete with fantastic food, a buzzing dance floor, and plenty of laughter. The dance floor was packed all night as everyone moved to crowd favourites and soaked up the joy of being together.
Our raffle prizes were a huge hit thanks to the generosity of our wonderful supporters including L’Oréal, Dulux, CSL, Mattel, Spotlight Foundation, Garry the Plumber, Skye Kleening, Good360, and Gideon Services.
