Paul House brings more than 35 years of senior management experience to his role as Deputy Chair of Waverley Social Enterprises. With a strong background in international sales and marketing, Paul’s career has spanned the global safety industry, where he worked alongside first responders, military, and emergency services across Australia, Asia Pacific, the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East.
Paul has led large-scale projects from concept through to delivery, helping to bring innovative safety products such as breathing apparatus and thermal imaging technology to market. His practical, end-user-first approach has always been about meeting real-world needs, and that mindset continues to guide his contributions at Waverley.
Paul joined the Waverley board for personal reasons, driven by a commitment to give back and a strong belief in Waverley’s mission to provide meaningful employment for people with disability. With lived experience as a family member of someone with an intellectual disability, he brings a deep personal connection to the work.
In addition to Waverley, Paul serves on other boards supporting inclusive sport and has proudly been President of a football club for people with intellectual disability for more than a decade. Outside of boardrooms and business, he’s happiest spending time with his family or cheering on his football club.
