Antony Elliott is an experienced commercial and finance professional, with a career spanning over 40 years across logistics, corporate finance, and senior executive leadership. He brings a sharp analytical mind and a breadth of experience from working in large, complex organisations, as well as deep governance expertise through his current and previous board roles.
Antony first encountered Waverley in 2004 during his daily commute, where he noticed the joy and sense of purpose among the supported employees arriving for work. That early impression stayed with him. Two decades later, recently retired and looking to give back, he reconnected with Waverley and was invited to join the Board, where his skills and perspective have proven a strong fit.
Today, Antony sits on four not-for-profit boards and advises several others. His time as a Managing Director of a diverse family office and his numerous non-executive roles have equipped him with the commercial acumen and governance capability to help guide Waverley’s strategic direction. His contributions are grounded in curiosity, a strong ethical compass, and a deep belief in Waverley’s mission.
Outside of his professional commitments, Antony finds joy in spending time with his young daughter. He’s also an avid sailor and skier, and has a long-standing love of history, fuelled by a healthy appetite for books and the occasional Wikipedia rabbit hole.
