Meaningful work

Workmates continue to do real, commercially competitive work that delivers quality outcomes for our customers while building valuable workplace experience.

Personalised Development Plans

Each Workmate has a personalised development plan that identifies goals, learning opportunities and the practical steps needed to achieve them.

Focused and Structured Coaching

Workmates receive more focused support through smaller working groups and structured coaching that responds to their individual goals.

Capacity Building programs

These programs provide additional opportunities for Workmates to build skills, confidence and independence beyond their day-to-day work. Perfect for Workmates who want to accelerate their development.

What does Waverley Pathways look like?

On the Pathways program, you will receive:

  • A Personalised Development Plan built around their goals
  • Regular check-ins and progress reviews
  • Small group support with 1:3 or 1:1 support ratios
  • Increased on-the-job coaching and training
  • Opportunities to try new tasks, sites and experiences

This means more individualised attention, more coaching and more support to help workmates build confidence, develop skills and work towards greater independence.

Who is Waverley Pathways for?

Waverley Pathways is for people with disability who want more from their employment experience.

It may be right for you if you would like to:

There is no single definition of success. Every Workmate’s pathway is built around what matters most to them.

No. Capacity Building programs are optional. Some Workmates choose to focus on their employment support, while others choose to take advantage of additional development opportunities. The choice is always based on individual goals and preferences.
