A New Chapter of Growth: Waverley and Knoxbrooke Join Forces to Create More Opportunities

Share:

Waverley Social Enterprises is thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership with Knoxbrooke Enterprises that will see Knoxbrooke’s Pack + Assemble business unit become part of the Waverley family from Monday 10 November 2025.

This collaboration brings together two purpose-driven organisations with a shared vision – creating meaningful employment and career opportunities for people with disabilities.

A Partnership Built on Shared Values

Knoxbrooke launched Pack + Assemble at its Bayswater site in 2023. In just two years, the business has grown rapidly, now employing 42 supported employees and 15 staff. The team has earned a strong reputation for high-quality packaging and assembly services, built on care, precision, and teamwork.

To continue growing and creating more supported employment opportunities, the Pack + Assemble business will now operate under Waverley Social Enterprises.

“This partnership represents an exciting new chapter for both Knoxbrooke and Waverley,” said Nick Williamson, CEO of Waverley Social Enterprises. “Together we can expand our impact, provide more opportunities for people with disabilities, and continue delivering exceptional services to our clients.”

Business as Usual With Added Strength

For the Pack + Assemble team, it’s business as usual at the Bayswater site. All supported employees and staff will continue in their current roles, keeping their existing pay, entitlements, and managers.

Behind the scenes, Waverley’s leadership and operational support will help strengthen the business even further, building capacity and creating new opportunities for supported employees across Melbourne.

“We’re proud to see Pack + Assemble continue to grow with Waverley,” said Annie Revell, CEO of Knoxbrooke Enterprises. “This partnership ensures the team has the backing and resources to thrive, while Knoxbrooke focuses on its other areas of strength. It’s a true win–win for our employees and clients.”

Expanding Opportunities and Social Impact

For Waverley, this partnership expands our reach and capability to deliver high-quality commercial packaging and assembly services while staying true to our mission of providing meaningful work for people with disabilities.

With more sites, more people, and more capacity, Waverley is now positioned to create even greater social impact – empowering more individuals to build skills, confidence, and community through work.

As both organisations look to the future, one thing is clear: by working together, we can achieve more than we ever could alone.

Welcome to the team, Pack + Assemble – we’re so glad to have you with us!
